New Cross was hit by 15 V1's and 5 V2's which killed a total of 286 people. There were 3 major V2 incidents at ShardloesRoad, Folkestone Gardens and the worst V weapon incident of all : New Cross Woolworth's

Twenty-five years ago, driven by a desire to understand how these weapons shaped modern London, I embarked on a deep-dive research project. After hundreds of hours of investigation, I published my findings here.
