V1 SE11 Lambeth Lambeth Holyoake Road Brook Drive 30/06/1944 09:07 The First V1 Flying Bomb to fall on London SE11 and the first of 2 in close proximity.. 9 houses partially collapsed. A range of buildings used as workshops a laundry etc in Brook Drive badly damaged. 200 houses and buildings damaged in Brook Drive and neighbouring thoroughfares. 1

V1 SE11 Southwark Kennington Kennington Lane around the junction with Vauxhall street 06/07/1944 09:25 1st of 2 V1 Flying bombs within a short distance of each other. This one demolished a factory and badly damaged a school. 30 houses also badly damaged. 5

V1 SE11 Lambeth Kennington Montford Place 08/07/1944 21:41 The V1 Flying bomb struck a direct hit on a gas holder belonging to the South Metropolitan Gas company. 15 Fire pumps attended the scene . The Haywards pickle factory was damaged by blast and fire. 8 houses were demolished and surrounding property badly damaged. 0
V1 SE11 Lambeth Lambeth St Thomases Hospital N end 15/07/1944 15:25 The V1 struck B Block of St Thomases Hospital causing severe blast damage . The was also a fire. 40 houses were damaged in Lambeth Palace Road. The Hospital was re-built post war with typical 1960's blocks at this end of the complex. 0

V1 SE11 Lambeth Lambeth Lambeth Road by lambeth High St S Side 21/07/1944 08:14 The V1 struck between 115 and 127 Lambeth Road. It caused major damage to the Eldorado Ice Cream company building and substantional blast damage to other buildings in the vicinity. 1

V2 SE11 Lambeth Lambeth Morton Place not  on map but at Lambeth North 04/01/1945 20:29 This tragic V2 rocket incident happened when the missile struck a Surrey Lodge dwellings (a block of flats) . It also partially demolished Lambeth public baths, partly demolished the Ideal Cinema, the  Mission hal, the l Wesleyan scholl and Institue .Site today totally re-developed much of it with 60's tower blocks. 42
